Desmantelan bandas criminales por hurto y comercialización de material estratégico del SEN
El ministro del Poder Popular para la Energía Eléctrica, G/J Néstor Reverol, informó que dos bandas criminales fueron desmanteladas, por hurto, robo y comercialización de material estratégico del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional (SEN), en la región capital.
A través de su cuenta en Instagram @reverolnestor, precisó que al recibir una denuncia confidencial, a través de las redes sociales, fueron coordinadas las investigaciones correspondientes, con los cuerpos de seguridad para la aprehensión de estos grupos de delincuencia organizada.
«Luego de 72 horas de diferentes pesquisas, se logró la aprehensión de 17 ciudadanos, de los cuales, tres se dedicaban a la sustracción del equipamiento en torres e instalaciones eléctricas y un segundo grupo de seis sujetos se encargaban de la preparación y traslado del material, desde la carretera vieja Caracas – La Guaira, a través de autobuses hasta un galpón en La Yaguara para su comercialización, lugar donde fueron capturadas otras ocho personas en los allanamientos correspondientes, con apoyo de la Policía Nacional Bolivariana».
Destacó que expertos en seguridad adscritos a Corpoelec, trabajan junto a los funcionarios policiales del estado La Guaira y al Ministerio Público, para determinar la afectación del servicio eléctrico, ocasionado por estás acciones delictivas.
Finalmente, ratificó el compromiso de la fuerza trabajadora del Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Energía Eléctrica y del Gobierno nacional, para erradicar todos los actos criminales que busquen menoscabar la calidad de vida y la paz del pueblo venezolano.
