“Activa la Conciencia con Energía y Eficiencia” un salto al uso racional de la energía en Venezuela
Con el propósito de crear una nueva cultura del uso racional y eficiente de la energía por parte de los usuarios de este servicio en Venezuela, el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Energía Eléctrica (Mppee) da inicio a una nueva estrategia comunicacional, “Activa la Conciencia con Energía y Eficiencia”.
Esta campaña, busca involucrar a los venezolanos y las venezolanas como actores corresponsables y garantes del buen uso de la electricidad, a través de diversas acciones y proyectos, los cuales se desarrollarán con asesoría directa del ente rector en materia de Energía Eléctrica.
Tania Masea, viceministra para Nuevas Fuentes y Uso Racional de la Energía Eléctrica, durante una entrevista en el programa Al Aire, transmitido por Venezolana de Televisión, informó que se pretende promover un gran desarrollo en el país en cuanto al uso de las energías alternativas, especialmente en los grandes usuarios.
“Estamos estimulando que los grandes usuarios de energía hagan autogeneración, pero no con plantas diésel, consumiendo combustible y generando gases de efecto invernadero, sino con energías alternativas, paneles solares, aerogeneradores; podemos hacerlo. Ya contamos con los estudios necesarios, tanto de radiación como mediciones de viento y la tarea es promover esta nueva cultura”.
La viceministra Tania Masea, resaltó la instalación de un sistema fotovoltaico en el estado Guárico, “para reforzar las telecomunicaciones del sector eléctrico nacional y como éste, serán 42 sistemas los que se instalarán. Ya comenzamos capacitando y formando a los actores, desarrollando toda una estructura en el país para que se efectué todo el cambio. Es un cambio cultural importante”, resaltó Masea.
Impacto del uso de las energías alternativas en Venezuela
Para el desarrollo de esta nueva campaña y cambio de patrones en el uso de la energía eléctrica, el talento humano del MPPEE, avalado por el ministro G/J Néstor Reverol, gran propulsor y principal garante del uso de las energías alternativas, realizó un estudio el cual contó con la instalación de más de 2 mil puntos de suministro de energía en el país.
Otro elemento en el que se participa con esta nueva acción, es en la disminución de gases de efecto invernadero en el país, como lo establece el 7º Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030 de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas.
“Cada vez que instalamos un sistema fotovoltaico o un sistema con aerogeneradores, estamos disminuyendo la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero, porque dejamos de producir en las termoeléctricas esa energía”, recalcó la viceministra de Uree.
Una de las resoluciones que el ministro Reverol Torres anunció, se basa en brindar asesorías a todas las empresas que quieran, las que están en el país y a las que quieran invertir, “esto lo debemos hacer con orden, debemos conocer donde las están instalando, cuál es la tecnología que utilizan, y las empresas podrán certificarse por el Mppee”, refirió.
El uso racional y eficiente de la energía es una estrategia que puede realizarse desde cualquier lugar donde el venezolano se desarrolle, hogar, lugar de estudio o trabajo, para contribuir en la disminución del consumo y el cuidado del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional.
