“Gracias a la inventiva de la fuerza trabajadora del SEN, estamos reactivando esta planta que tenía tres años inactiva por el brutal y criminal bloqueo económico y financiero que sufre el país. Estamos entregando 720 transformadores reconstruidos aquí en la planta, y que se desplegarán en el territorio nacional”, dijo.
Indicó que con la reactivación de esta sede se reconstruirán más de 2 mil 400 transformadores anuales, lo que equivale a una capacidad operativa de rehabilitación de 200 mensuales.
“Gracias a la fuerza trabajadora, del empeño y amor que le impregnan a su trabajo, hemos creado partes y piezas diseñadas aquí mismo en la planta, así como algunos repuestos, pudimos activar esta planta hoy”, manifestó.
El también Ministro del Poder Popular para la Energía Eléctrica, aseveró que gracias a las alianzas con la empresa privada se ha logrado la reutilización del cobre de piezas que han quedado fuera de servicio por cualquier circunstancia, además informó que junto a los organismos de seguridad del Estado se ha recuperado material estratégico producto del robo, hurto y vandalismo para luego convertirlo en rollos de alambre de cobre útil en la reconstrucción de los transformadores.
“Aquí están las bobinas automatizadas, para todo el tema de los alambres de cobre, la parte alta, la parte baja, recibimos los transformadores usados, se desarman, se revisan las piezas que pudieran volver a usarse, el caparazón y el núcleo central deben estar en buen estado. Luego empieza el momento de armarlos, y continúan en la sección de hermeticidad. Aquí a través de presión de aire y con el aceite eléctrico que se le coloca, determinamos la efectividad del trabajo. Pasa al laboratorio de prueba y de ahí hacen todas las determinaciones según las normas internacionales, que nos permite establecer si contamos ya con un transformador listo para ser instalado”, explicó.
Finalmente, agradeció la fortaleza y entereza de la fuerza trabajadora de la Corporación Eléctrica Nacional (Corpoelec), que no ha bajado la guardia y labora arduamente por llevar un servicio eléctrico óptimo a la nación.
“Estos hombres y mujeres, que en medio de la adversidad le da una posibilidad al sector eléctrico de seguir avanzando. Ustedes también son héroes y heroínas de la Patria”, dijo.
