Inspeccionan torre de energía eléctrica vandalizada en Nueva Esparta
Como parte de las acciones de respuesta inmediata de los centinelas del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional (SEN), para solventar la interrupción del servicio, este miércoles el presidente de Corpoelec, Ing. José Luis Betancorut, realizó una inspección a la torre de energía de 115 kV, ubicada en el estado Nueva Esparta, que tras ser vandalizada provocó su derrumbe en la entidad insular.
«Nos encontramos acá denunciando e inspeccionando la caída de una torre, que fue provocada por terroristas que sabotean al SEN. Este hecho ocurrió anoche, a las 10:50 pm, lo que tuvo como consecuencia una salida abrupta del servicio en la Isla de Margarita», dijo.
Destacó que, al momento de la caída del servicio eléctrico, la fuerza trabajadora de Corpoelec se desplegó en todas las instancias de la Isla, en los centros de control y diferentes subestaciones, para reponer el servicio.
«En estos momentos estamos desplegados para hacer la restitución total, lo que es la normalización del sistema eléctrico y a su vez dar la confiabilidad necesaria del SEN en el estado Nueva Esparta», precisó Betancourt.
Finalmente, el presidente de la Estatal eléctrica aprovechó la oportunidad de hacerle un llamado de concientización a aquellas personas que se han prestado al continuo ataque sistemático al SEN.
«Aquí se demuestra el ataque sistemático que hay contra el Sistema Eléctrico Nacional, y con la caída de esta torre lo vemos, por el debilitamiento de sus perfiles, y haciendo hurto de los mismos, hace que esta torre caiga y el pueblo de Nueva Esparta sufre con el corte imprevisto del servicio eléctrico», aseguró.
La fuerza trabajadora de Corpoelec se encuentra desplegada en el territorio nacional, las 24 horas del día, para atender cualquier ataque que sufra el SEN en el país.
