En la actividad indicó que el presidente de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro aprobó recursos para la recuperación de las termoeléctricas, por lo tanto, recordó que Termozulia poseía cero megavatios y actualmente cuenta con 600 MW, que permiten garantizar la estabilidad del sistema en la entidad.
El General en Jefe explicó que con estos recursos, se ha iniciado también una planta de recuperación de transformadores en Carora estado Lara, al igual que en Caracas, específicamente en La Mariposa y el próximo mes se inaugurará una en El Tigre, estado Anzoátegui.
Señaló que como parte del Plan de Recuperación de la Flota Terrestre realizó entrega de un conjunto de materiales, repuestos y equipos para la reparación de los vehículos necesarios para las labores en Corpoelec.
Además, Reverol Torres entregó 90 transformadores de diferentes capacidades al gobernador del estado Zulia, Omar Prieto para que conjuntamente con Corpoelec inicien el reemplazo de estos equipos.
“Acabamos de tener una importante reunión con todas las empresas que reparan transformadores en el estado Zulia. Seis empresas fueron convocadas junto al presidente de Corpoelec Industrial, Juan Ramón Rodríguez Navarro, con quienes en una alianza estratégica además de la Gobernación y Corpoelec, vamos a reparar todos los transformadores que tienen inoperativos en esta entidad”, indicó Reverol Torres.

“Estamos haciendo mantenimiento a las líneas de 400 KV y a la línea 230 KV que fue vandalizada por el enemigo. Queremos denunciar esto, la línea 230 KV que tiene el cable sublacustre, fue víctima de vandalismo y estamos recuperando de manera inmediata”, apuntó Reverol Torres.
