Prensa MPPEE – (Carabobo 05/05/2023).- Este viernes, autoridades del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional y de la gobernación del estado Carabobo, sostuvieron una jornada de trabajo para realizar un diagnóstico general e integral del sistema eléctrico en esa entidad.

“El estado Carabobo ha sufrido un conjunto de anomalías extrañas y un incremento en la demanda, por lo que es necesario hacer una auditoría integral, a fin de corregir todas las restricciones operativas de transmisión y distribución, lo que permitirá dar confiabilidad al sistema”, expresó el vicepresidente Sectorial de Obras Públicas y Servicios, G/J Néstor Reverol, durante un contacto telefónico con las autoridades presentes.

El también Ministro para la Energía Eléctrica aseveró que el objetivo es que a través de esta auditoría integral se puedan corregir las incidencias que influyen significativamente en la demanda eléctrica en la entidad y por ende en la estabilidad del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional (SEN).

 “Las medidas que se adoptarán tienen un alto grado de responsabilidad compartida entre autoridades nacionales, regionales, locales y por parte de los ciudadanos. Cada iniciativa cuenta para optimizar y mejorar la prestación del servicio”, sostuvo.

Por su parte, el presidente de la Corporación Eléctrica Nacional (Corpoelec), José Luis Betancourt, manifestó que el estado Carabobo tiene la particularidad que es el centro eléctrico del país.

En ese contexto, Betancourt anunció la incorporación de dos transformadores de potencia  y un reactor en la Planta Termo Carabobo, que permitirá elevar la capacidad de generación y trasmisión y darle mayor flexibilidad al SEN.

Finalmente, el Gobernador de la entidad Rafael Lacava reiteró la disposición de todo su equipo de trabajo para fortalecer el tema eléctrico en Carabobo.

“Todo lo que tenga que hacer junto a mi equipo que se nos instruya, lo realizaremos para ayudar en el fortalecimiento del sistema eléctrico”, finalizó.
