“Este terminal, también estará conformado por un conjunto de locales comerciales, oficinas, más de 12 taquillas, movilización de aproximadamente 3 mil personas diarias y ha tenido alrededor de 800 importantes empleos directos e indirectos”, indicó el también ministro del Poder Popular para la Energía Eléctrica.
El General en Jefe detalló que desde el mes de septiembre iniciaron los trabajos para materializar esta iniciativa, que responde al nombre del compañero que entregó su vida al servicio de este sector, donde actualmente se encuentran 33 líneas de transporte instaladas.
Por su parte, el mandatario regional, Ernesto Luna, resaltó que Caripito, sale adelante en medio de las dificultades. Además, agradeció a las autoridades nacionales por hacer posible este tipo de labores, dado que esta fue ejecutada casi en tiempo récord.
Finalmente, precisó que dicho proyecto cuenta con más de 3 mil metros de construcción y con 30 emprendedores que dinamizarán la política económica, ya que tendrán acceso al caño San Juan y al Atlántico, debido a su ruta fluvial.
